The Northwest College women’s basketball team went on one of its longest road trips of the season over the weekend, taking part in the Salt Lake Community College Bruin Classic Thursday-Friday.

Trapper Women Split MCC Classic
After a strong showing at home, Northwest College women’s basketball went back out on the road this past weekend to take part in the Miles Community College Classic on Friday and Saturday, losing to United Tribes Technical College 74-71 on Friday before defeating hosts MCC 62-51 on Saturday.

Women's Basketball Wins Heart Of A Champion Classic
An event-filled weekend had the Northwest women’s basketball team on the right side of the scoreboard, as the Trappers cruised past the All-Stars 89-55 on Friday and the Carroll College JV 78-60 on Saturday in the inaugural Coach Collins Heart of a Champion Memorial Classic at Cabre Gym.

NWC Women Improve To 5-1 Season Record
A strong early season push from the Trapper women’s basketball team has Northwest sitting with a 5-1 record after defeating Colorado Northwestern 81-67 on Friday, losing their first game of the season Saturday to Air Force Prep 94-88 in overtime, before defeating Williston State 73-67 on Monday.

Trapper Women Cruise to 3-0 In Early Season
Two matchups in a week against the Rocky Mountain JV saw the Northwest women’s basketball team cruise to two victories — defeating the Battlin’ Bears 74-45 at home on Friday and 99-48 on the road on Tuesday.
