POWELL, Wyo. - Stories about the Northwest College Board of Trustees election, comprehensive sports coverage and some Halloween photos are just a few of the items the community can read about in the current issue of the award-winning Northwest Trail that hit stands Thursday, Nov. 4.
A publication of Northwest College since 1956, the Trail is a weekly paper circulated throughout campus and the Powell and Cody communities.
In the last couple of decades the Trail and its staffers have won numerous awards for reporting and photography, including the prestigious Pacemaker award, given to two and four-year schools for overall newspaper excellence by the Associated Collegiate Press.
The paper recently won the College Press Freedom Award from the Student Press Law Center.
