Specialized search engines are created and designed to find and access websites that general search engines, such as Google, do not. Try one of these search engines when your favorite search engine does not retrieve what you want.

A general search engine that does not track your personal information.

Google - Advanced Search

Google Scholar

Google's specialized search engine that searches across many scholarly disciplines and worldly sources.

Start Page Search Engine

Touted as "The world's most private search engine," StartPage says that they are the only third-party certified search engine in the world that does not record your IP address or track your searches. StartPage gives you a clean Google Search without tracking!
