All campus buildings are open to the public; face coverings and social distancing required.
Students, faculty, and community members are invited to an informal Q&A with award-winning journalist Robert Moor from 4-5 p.m. at the Nelson House on Wednesday, Sept. 26.
Moor is the author of On Trails: An Exploration. This New York Times best-seller shines a light on the many paths that connect our world and how they guide our lives. The book details comprehensive research on trails, from insect and animal trails to hiking the Appalachian Trail to the internet as a form of trail.
Moor will also deliver the annual Wasden Reading on Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m. in the Yellowstone Building Conference Center. Moor has written for Harper’s, n+1, The New Yorker, and GQ, among other publications. A recipient of the Middlebury Fellowship in Environmental Journalism, he has won multiple awards for his nonfiction writing.
The Wasden Readings are named in honor of late NWC professor Winifred S. Wasden.
