Northwest College

Take the next step to getting started at Northwest College and join us for the Spring New Student Orientation session on January 17th. 

New or transfer students who have registered for classes at Northwest College are encouraged to participate in a New Student Orientation Event.

If you have not registered for classes, please be sure to complete the admissions process including an application for admission, official transcripts, test scores, and any other related admissions documents.

Yellowstone Building on the Northwest side of campus.

Time

First, check to see if you need to take an optional Placement Test.

• If yes, arrive at 10:00 am
• If no, arrive at 11:30 am
• Not sure if you need to take a placement test, we will let you know after you register for orientation if you need one or not. 

Costs (Paid at check-in)

• ACCUPLACER and Aleks tests, if needed:  $25 fee (includes 5 tests)
• Complimentary student lunch will be provided

On-Campus schedule will include: 

• 11:30 am - 12:30 pm: Enjoy a complimentary lunch while learning all about academic success, getting involved on campus, and engaging in some Q&A with staff from Enrollment Services. 
• 12:30 - 1:00 pm: Learn about all of the technology available to you as a Northwest College student and register for classes or make changes to your Spring 2022 classes.
• 1:00 - 2:00 pm: Go on a guided walking tour with one of our knowledgeable Trailblazers. (Optional)

If you have not registered for classes yet, please call the NWC Admissions Office at 307-754-6101 or email admissions@nwc.edu to make an appointment. Registration can take place in person, over the phone, or through a video call—whatever is easiest for you.
