Trapper Adult Learner

For students aged 24+ who enroll full or part time, Northwest College offers the Trapper Adult Learner scholarship.

This scholarship is merit based and available to both full-time and part-time adult students, who are enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours per semester. Based on the current Trapper Scholarship award model, eligible Adult Learner students enrolled in 6.0-11.5 credits per semester can qualify for prorated awards equal to half the value of the current, full-time enrollment awards.

Trapper and Trapper Adult Learner Scholarships are awarded according to a set of eligibility criteria which includes applicants’ enrollment history, academic information and residency.

IMPORTANT: Students who enroll or re-enroll at NWC after not being enrolled in college for at least five years, will be automatically eligible for the Trapper Access Scholarship and not held to the GPA they earned during their previous college enrollment. This is a one-semester “reprieve”, and these students will be expected to have earned a cumulative NWC GPA of 2.00 after their first semester enrolled/re-enrolled to maintain scholarship eligibility after the reprieve semester ends.

For comprehensive application and eligibility requirements for all NWC Scholarships, please review the NWC Scholarships portion of the Financial Aid Disclosure & Consumer Information on our policies page.
