Equine Training, A.A.S.

If you’re ready to train young horses and shape them into confident performers, this hands-on, two-year degree is for you. With a strong focus on fundamentals, you’ll learn how to guide, read, and influence horses through each stage of development. Bring your own horse with 30–60 days of training and get to work building your skills. This degree option requires skills and physical fitness, with fast reflexes, heavy lifting and stamina to handle young horses.
