Equine Care and Basic Riding, S.C.

If you’re happiest in a saddle or at the barn, this hands-on certificate is a great place to start. You’ll learn how to care for horses safely and responsibly: feeding, grooming, handling, and understanding their behavior. You’ll get comfortable in the saddle too with basic riding and occupational skills. Whether you’re aiming to be a trail guide, groom, wrangler, or stable hand, this program builds the skills you need to work around horses with confidence.
