Surgical Technology Program – this is an 18-month program

Tuition cost of $2,850.00 – Due by February 15, 2026

Location - NWC CTD – 1102 East 7th Street (in the old Wyoming National Guard bld)
The tuition cost for this class is $2,850.00. Students must also buy a 1-year subscription to Cengage Unlimited. This cost is $230.00. Cengage is the online learning platform used for course work. There will also be a charge for the Background Check through CastleBranch – this cost is around $255.00. You will be sent more information about all of this once you are registered.

* Basic Life Support training is required for the Surgical Tech program – this is through the American
Heart Association – I believe you can find this online
* Drug Screen Testing is required for the Surgical Tech program – please contact R&A Safety for the drug test – the cost for the test is $65.00..
* Your Immunization Record is required for the Surgical Tech program
* Confirmation form that states that you have read the syllabus and you understand and accept all policies
and regulations – we are required to have this form on file - we will send you the
form & the syllabus
* COVID 19 Declaration Form – we are required to have this form on file – we will send you the form
This 18-month hybrid course will help surgical technologists learn the general functions in and around the operating room
Surgical technologists will learn to prepare operating rooms for surgery; sterilize and supply equipment; prepare patients for surgery; help surgeons and nurses during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies.
Students will also learn non-sterile procedures such as endoscopy.
Upon completion of this program, a student will be eligible to sit for the Tech in Surgery (TS-C) exam. This exam is through NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing).
Prerequisites: American Heart Association Basic Life Support and a High School Diploma
Clinicals: Will be set up with the instructor
