Tutor Suggestions Our NWC tutors share their advice on how they became successful students. Learn how they study, prepare for exams, and write papers. 

Khan Academy  With a library of over 2,400 videos covering everything from math to physics, finance, and history, they are on a mission to help you learn what you want, when you want, at your own pace.

Purdue OWL  The Online Writing Lab (OWL) at Purdue University houses writing resources and instructional material for free.

Chegg Study  A per month fee. Solutions for your textbook or homework problems. They even have an app!

ScienceWorld  A companion to MathWorld, covering astronomy, biography, chemistry, and physics.

MathWorld  A free service provided by Wolfram Research, makers of Mathematica, with additional support from the National Science Foundation. Includes math help for many levels of Math.

HowToStudy.org  When you hit the books - and they hit back! Offering a wide variety of helpful study skills resources for students of any grade level.

NWC TRiO Academic Success Site This site has links to the VARK inventory (assessments for learning styles and strategies), study skills, and academic planners.
