About our ADN program:
The NWC Associate Degree in Nursing program is a 5 semester program that includes one semester of pre-requisite coursework and 4 semesters of core nursing courses. The nursing program uses an evidence-based nursing curriculum that intentionally prepares students for the challenges faced by nurses in today’s changing healthcare environment and appropriately supports Wyoming’s unique nursing education need by creating a seamless pathway to the Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) through the University of Wyoming.
About the LPN program:
The LPN certificate program is a program delivered online with clinical and lab practice in Lovell, WY and the surrounding communities. Students may earn their certificate within a calendar year and be eligible to sit for the NLCEX-PN exam. LPNs practice largely in the clinical and long term care settings. Entry into the LPN program requires pre-requisites, application, physical/technical requirements, drug screening, and acceptance based on space availability and criteria. Please consult the latest application information on our website.
About the CNA program:
The CNA certificate program consists of two courses: NRST1510 Nursing Assistant and NRST1200 Medical Terminology. The Nursing Assistant course is offered each semester and typically consists of 8 weeks of online coursework, 16 hours of face-to-face lab, and 30 hours of on-site clinical experience. The course is offered at multiple sites throughout the NWC service area. Please consult the NWC Class Schedule for available courses. For more information about our CNA program, please click on "how to enroll".
