POWELL, WYOMING – The 32nd annual Yellowstone Summer Music Camp returns to Northwest College June 15-20, offering students from around the region an opportunity to perform in both concert and jazz bands and choirs. The camp is open to all students in grades 6-12, with instrument players required to have completed at least one year of middle school/junior high band.

The full cost of the camp, including tuition, room, board and meals is $590, or $390 for day commuters who pay tuition only. The registration deadline is May 16 with a deposit of $155.93 due upon registration submission. Scholarships awarded by Northwest College for outstanding performances during festival events and audition submissions throughout the year must also be submitted during registration and will be deducted from final balance due on check-in day.

Special interest classes include jazz band, jazz choir, music technology, drum circle, frisbee golf, and others. Students are supervised in the residence halls from Sunday afternoon through the end of the camp on Friday afternoon by a team of counselors. Evenings are filled with a variety of music recitals, talent shows and recreational activities.
