POWELL, WYOMING – The Northwest Civic Orchestra will present a free evening of entertainment on Saturday, November 15, featuring a showcase of small instrumental ensembles inside the Northwest College Student Center. The performances begin at 7 p.m. and serve as the orchestra’s first concert of the season.
The Northwest Civic Orchestra is a community orchestra in Powell that operates under the direction of Maurine Akin. It serves as a platform for both Northwest College musicians and those from other communities to perform classical and popular music for the public. The orchestra combines the talents of students, faculty, and community members, both professional and amateur.
