Founded in 1982, Keele Sanitation is a family-owned company proudly serving the Big Horn Basin. Joe Keele established the business with a simple, hardworking approach by supplying 55-gallon drums to rural homes, ranches, and farms and collecting them by hand. What began as one man’s determination to provide reliable trash service in a vast, rural landscape has grown into a trusted, multi-generation company serving thousands of people across the area.

For more than 40 years, Joe Keele worked to provide dependable waste services to remote ranches, agricultural operations, oilfield sites, construction projects, and residential customers throughout the region. Through Wyoming’s toughest winters and hottest summers, Joe delivered timely service, quality work and a customer focused commitment steered by integrity and generosity.

In 2024, Chris and Reanne Wolff purchased Keele Sanitation. One of their first goals was to honor the legacy of the man who founded this successful, long-standing family business by creating a scholarship in his name for students enrolled in the Commercial Driver’s License program at Northwest College. Through the Wolff’s generosity, this scholarship reflects a strong commitment to workforce development and expanding opportunities for NWC students enrolled in the CDL program.

The Wolffs remain committed to the same principles Joe Keele established: hard work, honesty, and taking care of the people and land that make the Big Horn Basin home.
