Equine Studies

In order to put a horse in the college stall barn, you will need:

1. Verification of the following vaccinations, as marked for each:
   • Equine Influenza — 30 days
   • Tetanus — 6 months
   • Equine Encephalomyelitis — 6 months
   • West Nile Virus — 6 months
   • Rhinopneumonitis — 30 days
   • Strangles — 30 days
   • Ehrlichia Risticii (Potomac Fever) — 30 days
   • Rabies (3 months)
2. Horse should be wormed within 30 days of arrival at the college.
3. Horse must have feet in good condition and ready to work.
4. You need a proper hauling permit (check with your state of origin for proper permits).
