POWELL, Wyo. - It’s not too late for community and technical college instructors to sign up to join their colleagues from across the northwest Rocky Mountain region at the Yellowstone Master Teachers Seminar Sunday-Wednesday, Sept. 15-18.

Held at a field station near the Shoshone National Forest, the seminar follows national Great Teachers Seminar premises that excellent teaching takes place in American education, that teachers who strive toward mastery of their craft have much to share with others, and that gathering teachers in a relaxed, informal atmosphere to share their successes and experiences will enhance the skills of all.

The sole aim of the seminar is the practical exploration of ways to improve teaching, with  participants designing their own agenda to suit their professional needs. Each participant is asked to submit ideas for discussion. Seminar staff will lead focus sessions around special interests.

Cost is $550 per person and covers all seminar activities, meals and lodging.
