POWELL, Wyo. - With the national unemployment rate now over 10 percent, competition in the job market is keener than ever. That's why the Northwest College Center for Training and Development in Powell is offering "Resume Workshop-Basic Job Hunting Skills" Tuesday, Nov. 17.

The two-hour workshop begins at 10 a.m., with a discussion on networking and where to look for jobs. Resumes, cover letters, references and follow-up are covered as well. During the second half, participants can work on their resumes in the computer lab and receive assistance from Kay Dooley, workshop leader. Dooley said each person will leave with their resume printed on high quality paper.

Cost is $10 per person.
