P O W E L L, W y o. - Northwest College goes into summer mode beginning Monday, May 14, with changed hours for administrative offices and Hinckley Library.

All college offices are open from 8 a.m. 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. noon on Fridays through the summer, according to Mark Kitchen, NWC's vice president for college relations. Kitchen said that while college offices are opened to the public four fewer hours on Friday, hourly employees still fulfill their 40 hours of work per week by rearranging individual work schedules.

Northwest's Hinckley Library closes for maintenance and cleaning from Saturday, May 12, through Sunday, June 3. Limited library services will be available June 4 through July 1 on the first floor, but the second floor will remain closed so that new carpet can be laid. Out-of-town library patrons are encouraged to call (307) 754-6207 before traveling to use library services during this time.

The library resumes normal summer hours Monday, July 2, when it's open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m.-noon Friday. Any Wyoming resident can check out books and other materials from Hinckley Library. A valid card from a public library in Wyoming may be used or the library can issue a card to the user.

Summer office hours are in effect at Northwest through Aug. 17. Normal Hinckley Library hours resume Aug. 27.
