P O W E L L, W y o. - Managing Cash Flow for Seasonal Businesses, a free one-hour workshop designed for tourist-driven businesses, will be offered from 8-9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, in the Northwest College Cody Center for Training and Development. This workshop, made possible through a partnership with the Cody Economic Development Council and Cody Country Chamber of Commerce, is part of the "Taking Care of Business" series.

Presenter Robert H. Hanson has been a Wall Street investor, a former CEO for a telecommunications company and now serves as chairman of the board for an insurance company. He said one of the major challenges facing Cody businesses is that they take in 90 percent of their earnings in four months of the year. This creates problems managing cash flow during the off-season months. Hanson will suggest ways to bridge the winter months.

Joining him will be Garrett Growney, assistant vice president at Shoshone Bank, who will discuss revolving lines of credit used in managing cash flow.
