POWELL, Wyo. - Anyone with memories or opinions of Lovell’s Hyart Theater is invited to share them in a documentary project being filmed at the iconic theater Saturday, Oct. 26.

A film crew of Northwest College students will be on-site prior to the 3 p.m. matinee and through the 7 p.m. evening show of “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.”

The crew will collect short interviews from community members before and in between shows, as well as capture images of the crowd and building for a “day in the life of the Hyart.”

Anyone willing to be interviewed will be asked to sign a short release form. Those appearing in general audience and crowd shots will not be required to sign releases.

A separate line will be queued for patrons who don’t want to be filmed. Regular admission rates will be charged.

The movie is a class project for an NWC documentary filmmaking class.

Send an email for more information about the Hyart project, or to contribute additional photos, video, commentary, etc.
