POWELL, Wyo. - Being a senior citizen or semi-senior citizen doesn’t mean the world of computers is out of reach thanks to “Computer Basics for the 55+Crowd,” a new two-part class that meets in Cody beginning Tuesday, May 7.

Instructor Ashlee Lundvall will help participants get comfortable using a computer, including the keyboard and mouse, in a relaxed learning environment. They’ll practice composing a basic letter, exploring the Internet, sending and receiving email messages, as well as saving and viewing photographs.

The class meets from 9 a.m.-noon Tuesdays, May 7 and 14, in the Northwest College Cody Center for Training and Development.

The $29 cost includes a manual.
