POWELL, Wyoming — Viewers who watch the Saturday, Nov. 14, Democratic debate will be treated to real-time data and insights provided by Twitter. Those who watch the debate at Northwest College will also be treated to an after-event analysis.

The NWC Forensics Team invites the public to come to campus to view the debate on a large screen and then participate in an open-forum discussion. The evening gets underway at 7 p.m. in Room 70 of the Fagerberg Building.

During the debate, Twitter is planning to bring live reactions and questions from voters around the country onto the debate stage. This new twist will likely become part of the post-debate discussion, along with the candidates’ rhetorical and political strengths and weaknesses.

“Face the Nation” anchor and CBS News political director John Dickerson will moderate the live debate at Drake University in Iowa. Meanwhile, members of the NWC Forensics Team will moderate a discussion of the state of the Democratic race at Northwest.

Handouts introducing the candidates will be provided before the program. Anyone who's interested is invited to watch and contribute or just listen.
