P O W E L L, W y o. - It took a record snowfall to postpone the planned March 30 dedication ceremony to memorialize a Northwest College residence hall destroyed by fire three years earlier. Unless Mother Nature has another surprise in store for Park County, the Bridger Hall Memorial dedication ceremony will take place at 4 p.m. Friday, May 4.

The memorial is located on the northeast corner of the Bridger Hall site on Bernard St.

The brief ceremony includes comments from NWC President Miles LaRowe; Clay Cummins, president of the NWC Alumni Association Board of Directors, Jan Kiefer, an NWC alum from Ten Sleep who was a Bridger Hall resident in the early 1970s and Dee Havig, residence and campus life director.

The memorial and ceremony are sponsored by the NWC Alumni Association Board of Directors which invites the college's alumni, friends, staff and the larger community to join them in dedicating the bench/planter memorial.

The brief ceremony is followed by a reception in the Orendorff Building Lounge.
