POWELL, Wyo. - Bowlers across the Big Horn Basin will be rolling for dollars and prizes Saturday, March 29, during the Northwest College Alumni Bowl-A-Thon at lanes in Cody, Lovell, Powell and Worland.

The NWC Alumni Office encourages teams to organize now in order to secure a spot in the Basin-wide event, cosponsored by Fremont Beverage/Pepsi.

The Bowl-A-Thon is hosted from 2-4 p.m. by Hutch’s Classic Lanes and Grille in Powell, Hurricane Lanes in Worland, Rose City Lanes in Lovell and R&K Superbowl in Cody.

Each team must enlist at least one NWC alum to act as coordinator or team captain. Those teams who need an alum to round out their roster can call the NWC Alumni Office at 307.754.6034.

The $15 registration fee per bowler covers two games, shoes, snacks and a drink. Businesses who sponsor a team for $75 receive promotional consideration.

Prizes will be awarded for best costumes and team names. Giveaways, door prizes and raffles are part of the event, too.

All money raised by the Saturday bowlers will be matched by an anonymous NWC alum to be used toward construction of the college’s new Yellowstone Building.

Complete rules and registration forms are available online.
