NWC Soccer Teams Go 1-3 On Road
The Northwest College soccer teams were on the road last weekend against conference rivals Sheridan and Gillette, with each game holding playoff implications as the 2018 season begins to wind down.

Trappers Split Against Gillette, Sheridan
After Friday’s game against Sheridan was pushed back to Sunday because of weather, the Trappers (3-4-1 overall, 2-3-1 in conference) opened their weekend Saturday with a 1-0 win over Gillette. The win avenged a 3-2 loss to the Pronghorns earlier in the season, giving NWC a series split.

Lady Trapper Soccer Ties Gillette 1-1
While Saturday may have been a day to remember for the Northwest College women’s soccer team, it quickly turned into one to forget on the men’s side. The Lady Trappers earned a 1-1 tie against visiting Gillette College — snapping a lengthy losing streak — while the Trappers fell to the Pronghorns 3-0.

LCCC Sweeps NWC Soccer Teams
Scoring woes continued for the Northwest College soccer programs over the weekend, as conference rival Laramie County Community College left Trapper Field with a sweep. The visitors from Cheyenne held the Lady Trappers and Trappers scoreless at 6-0 and 2-0, respectively.
