Why do a few people truly excel? According to distinguished journalist Geoff Colvin, both the hard work and natural talent camps are wrong. This book shares principles based on scientific research.
Dr. Spencer Johnson realizes the need for finding the language and tools to deal with change--an issue that makes all of us nervous and uncomfortable. This book takes the fear and anxiety out of managing the future and shows people a simple way to successfully deal with the changing times, providing them with a method for moving ahead with their work and lives safely and effectively.

Lencioni reveals the five dysfunctions which go to the very heart of why teams, even the best ones, often struggle. He outlines a powerful model and actionable steps.
Lencioni offers more specific, practical guidance for overcoming the Five Dysfunctions using tools, exercises, assessments, and real-world examples. Written concisely and to the point, this guide gives leaders, line managers, and consultants alike the tools they need to get their teams up and running quickly and effectively.

Who says video games and books don’t go together? Not NWC Volleyball Coach Shaun Pohlman. He grew up playing Nintendo games like Tecmo Super Bowl, Contra, Mike Tyson’s Punch Out, ExcitBike, Mario Brothers and Ninja Gaiden for fun. But he also devours books to inspire winning teams. Some of his favorites are “Talent is Overrated” by Geoff Colvin, “Who Moved My Cheese,” by Spencer Johnson and “The Energy Bus” by Jon Gordon.

When he’s not reading or coaching, he plays around with graphic design projects—that new sign in front of the Cabre Gym concession stand—yup, he designed it. Speaking of signs, bet you didn’t know Shaun is also fluent in sign language. Need a Murphy bed? Shaun can build you one!

How’d he get interested in so many different things? He took advice from Ben Franklin: If you do tomorrow what you did today, you will get tomorrow what you got today.
