Students enrolled in 12 or more credit hours are required to pay $53 Fall semester and $72 Spring semester (includes summer) for a mandatory group accident insurance policy approved by the Associated Students of Northwest. The policy works in conjunction with any primary policy, or stands alone if there is no other insurance. It can provide up to $10,000 of covered expenses, but will not duplicate expenses provided by your own insurance. There is also a $1,000 accidental death benefit. Identification cards are provided by the insurance company.
International students are required to purchase a Medical Sickness Plan or prove that they already have personal insurance. An optional Family Health Plan is available to interested single students and students with families.
