Bobby Peters

Men's and Women's Soccer Coach

Coach Peters comes to Northwest College with over a decade of coaching experience including club and college levels.

Prior to joining the Trappers, he was the Assistant Men’s Coach at Missouri Valley College. As an assistant the Vikings went 40-16-7 and had the 2nd longest consecutive top 25 ranking in the nation. He also served as the Head JV Coach and amassed a record of 36-2-1. His achievements include the first ever undefeated conference title, the team’s first ever visit to the NAIA national tournament finals, and players being named as All-Americans each year. 

Before Missouri Valley College, Peters served as Head Coach for the East Central College Men’s team in Union, Missouri. While at East Central he amassed a record of 19-18-1. During his tenure his teams won the MCCAC title, and the athletic program won the MCCAC academic title.  

While enjoying the opportunity to coach great teams and players, his favorite part of coaching is seeing his players succeed professionally. He had a player drafted into the MLS, and players play in Puerto Rico, Spain and Australia. He also has many former players that are now successful coaches in college, high school, and clubs all over the world.

Coach Peters has a United States Soccer Federations "D" License.
 
Prior to coaching, Peters played at East Central College, and Missouri Valley College. He placed 3rd place in the NJCAA tournament, and captained the Missouri Valley Men’s team for two seasons.
 
He and his wife Tracee have two daughters, Chloe 10 and Bailey 6. He is a graduate of Missouri Valley College with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, and has a Master's in Sport Management from Missouri Baptist University.
