Kristine Smith

Prior to coming to Northwestern, Kristine Smith was employed with several K–12 school districts as a physical education and health teacher, volleyball coach, basketball coach, track coach, intramural director, aquatics instructor and school district curriculum writer. She has also supervised student teachers and taught activity classes at the University of Minnesota. Smith has formerly coached volleyball, basketball, and track and field at Northwestern College.

Smith has made refereed presentations and community presentations and seminars in the specialty areas of Adolescent Health Issues, Stress Management and Women’s Health. 

She is married and has two children.
