A music minor is available to those who want a concentration of coursework in music but have other educational goals. It is especially useful for those considering a major in elementary education, ministry, or other related fields.
Fine Arts courses in core curriculum must include MUS1075 or MUS 1825.

Sight Singing and Ear Training I
Sight Singing and Ear Training II
Music Theory II
Fundamentals of Conducting
Music Hour (two semesters required)
Also required are four semesters (4 credits) of minor-level lessons on the student's primary instrument/voice; four semesters (4 credits) in music ensembles on the student's primary instrument/voice; two credits of music electives (may include group or individual lessons, ensembles or music classes).
