Dr. Kathleen Robinson's particular interest in musicology are sacred music and twentieth-century music written in response to war or social inequity. Her teaching seeks to place music into its historical, cultural, and spiritual contexts. As a performer, Robinson has sung with such distinguished musical organizations as the Dale Warland Singers, the Chicago Symphony Chorus, and as a soloist with the Morning Choir of the Fourth Presbyterian Church (Ill.). She has taught at Judson College, Trinity Christian College, Wheaton College, Northeastern Illinois University, and Gordon College. In addition to her college teaching, she also maintains a private piano studio.
