Jeremy Kolwinska

Dr. Jeremy Kolwinska is the Chair of the Music Department at Northwestern College. Prior to his appointment at NWC, Kolwinska served as Chair of the Department of Music and Associate Professor of Trombone at the University of Tennessee at Martin. He has also served on the faculty of the Tennessee Governor's School for the Humanities and been a visiting professor at Hirosaki University in Japan. In addition to his teaching and administrative duties, Kolwinska maintains a busy performance schedule. He was a member of the Jackson Symphony (Tennessee) and has performed with the Memphis Symphony, the Lincoln Symphony, the Omaha Symphony, and the Orquesta Sinfonica UANL ( Monterrey, Mexico).
Kolwinska holds degrees from Bob Jones University, the University of Nebraska, and the University of Minnesota. His major teachers are Paul Overly, Scott Anderson, Thomas Ashworth and Douglas Wright.
