Martin (Marty) L. Hage
Lecturer in Chemistry and Regulatory Affairs Officer
Prior to coming to Northwestern, Martin Hage taught mathematics at New Life Academy and chemistry at Hennepin Technical College. Hage has also worked in the industry for 25 years for such major corporations as Cargill and Vision-Ease Lens. At Vision-Ease Lens he held various positions, including Senior Research Chemist and Engineering Manager, while conducting research and establishing new manufacturing facilities at various foreign and domestic locations. He is the founder and current president of Integrity Coatings, Inc., a supplier of chemicals, manufacturing equipment, testing services, and consulting services to the ophthalmic lens industry. His publications include a dozen US and foreign patents as well as two technical articles. He is married to Kris and the father of their eight precious children.
