Professor Kent Kaiser talks debt crisis on KARE 11
July 27—Professor of Communication, Kent Kaiser, Ph.D., talked with Diana Pierce about the debt crisis on KARE 11 4 p.m. news yesterday. Kaiser comments on how the crisis has created a general sense of anxiety in the United States and how individuals can help by contacting their respective congressional office.
Kaiser has served as a political communications consultant to numerous first-time candidates for public office, including two who won seats in the U.S. Congress. He has previously worked at the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State, the U.S. Census Bureau, the University of Minnesota, and for several nonprofit public policy organizations.
He has won multiple awards from the Minnesota Association of Government Communicators and oversees the Northwestern College chapters of the International Association of Business Communicators, the Intercollegiate Studies Institute and the College Republicans. He has also been named a senior policy fellow with Center of the American Experiment, a Minneapolis think tank.
