Pilot receives award from Evangelical Press Association

June 7—The Northwestern Pilot magazine has won its first award from the Evangelical Press Association (EPA). For the Fall/Winter 2010 Pilot, the article “Crossing the Invisible Line” (featuring Kirk Talley and Tim Sawyer) won 3rd Place in the General Article: Short category at the 2011 Evangelical Press Association convention in May. The article was written by freelance writer Shelly Barsuhn and edited by Jenny Collins and Nancy Zugschwert. First and second place winners were Sojourners and Christianity Today, respectively.
