Opera Workshop presents Portraits from Mozart's La Finta Semplice

Mar. 17—Northwestern College’s Opera Workshop, directed by Doreen Hutchings and accompanied by members of the Northwestern Orchestra under the direction of David Kozamchak, presents arias and ensembles from Mozart’s La finta semplice (The Pretended Simpleton-Girl). This opera buffa (comedic opera) was written by 12-year-old Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and first performed in Salzburg in 1769.
