Music students named winners in prestigious competitions
Mar. 30—Congratulations to Northwestern College music students as winners in the following prestigious music competitions:
Thursday Musical Young Artist Competition 2011
College Level Advanced Voice first place co-winner (there were two first place winners in this division): Barrett Radziun, tenor, Vocal Performance Major recent graduate (Dec. ’10)
College Level Intermediate Voice first place winner: T. Hastings Reeves, bass-baritone, Vocal Performance Major, current sophomore

Minnesota Music Teachers Association (MMTA) College Young Artist Contest 2011
Third place winner: Seoyon Susanna Lim, piano, Piano Performance Major, current junior
Susanna performed a 30-minute memorized program before two judges, and as a winner she will perform one piece in the Honors Recital that concludes the Minnesota Music Teachers Association's 2011 state convention in June. The concert, which is free and open to the public, will be held on:

Lim, student of Barbara Rogers, also competed in the Schubert Club and Thursday Musical Scholarship competitions this year.
