Denler Gallery welcomes Jonathan Paul Gillette

Jonathan Paul Gillette: I Don't Know What to SayDenler Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of a new solo exhibition by Jonathan Paul Gillette.

Jonathan Paul Gillette: I Don't Know What to Say
October 3–28
Artist Lecture: Monday, October 3 at 5 p.m.
Reception: Monday, October 3 from 6–8 p.m.

Gillette is a Nashville-based artist and designer who is interested in things that occupy a space between art and psychology. This solo exhibition includes works in a variety of media, including photography and sculpture, which the artist hopes will provoke opportunities for others to look inward, instead of asking them to look at art.

Gillette is committed to running from his problems, believing that running towards them would create more. He is a confused person, and unsure of what to say.

He currently partners the design collective Enchanted Unicorn, is Professor of Art Theory and Graphic Design at Lipscomb University, where he presides as Director of the BFA program. He holds a MFA in Painting & Drawing and a MS in Psychology.

The lecture, exhibit, and the reception are free and open to the public. Visit the Denler Gallery online for more information, map and directions.
