Bringing God Into Your Daily Work Life: Developing a Biblical Worldview of WorkOur worldview, the way we look at life, impacts everything we do. It also impacts how we view our work and whether we have a biblical, Christ-centered view of work where God is honored or we approach our work lives as something that is separated from God. This session will encourage participants to view their work as a form of worship and teach them how to cultivate a lifestyle of bringing God into their daily worklife. Emotional Intelligence 2.0™: The Key to Effective RelationshipsEach of us is searching for effective tools that can help us to manage, adapt, and manage relationships effectively. By now, emotional intelligence (EQ) needs little introduction—it’s no secret that EQ is critical to your success. But knowing what EQ is and knowing how to use it to improve your life are two very different things. Emotional Intelligence delivers a step-by-step program for increasing your EQ via four, core EQ skills that enable you to achieve your fullest potential in the areas of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management. Working in a Service-Centered Culture“If you are not serving a student or listener, serve someone who is.” Jesus said to be great we must become a servant of all. We all have a role of serving others at Northwestern. This session will look at what service looks like, how to cultivate a culture where service is valued, and our role to sustain a service culture. The program equips employees to build a quality service culture on campus and improve customer communications in person and over the phone. Strengths-Based WorkplaceThe Strengths-based approach to work and life is becoming one of the most widely used assessment tools today and is a powerful and insightful process used to very quickly understand your own strengths as well as learn how and why people tend to behave and contribute in work situations the way they do. Working at the Speed of Trust™Working at the Speed of Trust helps individual contributors identify and address “trust gaps” in their own personal credibility and in their relationships at work. Using examples based on their current work and focusing on real-world issues, participants discover how to communicate transparently with peers and managers, improve their track record of keeping commitments, focus on improving internal “customer service” with others who depend on their work, build team trust and much more. |
