Linda Mayes

Director,  Center for Calling & Career

Linda has worked in education and Christian ministry for over 20 years, including eight years as a missionary to Taiwan and eight years in college career development. Linda has a B.A. in intercultural studies, an M.A. in theology, additional graduate work in education, counseling and career counseling and a Ph.D. in Christian higher education in progress. Linda's research interests are in the area of the theology of work and calling, spiritual formation, career development and Christian higher education leadership.

Linda Ashworth

Assistant Director of Experiential Education

Linda brings both academic and real-world experience to her role as assistant director of experiential education. Linda's academic training includes undergraduate work in business and chemistry, as well as master's and pre-doctoral work in chemistry.

Professionally, Linda has worked in both industry and education, including eight years as a power and formulation chemist, and over seven years as a teacher within public, private and homeschool settings.

Linda is passionate about promoting professional development opportunities for students and about connecting students with employers.

Linda is a member of the National Society of Experiential Educators (NSEE), the Cooperative Education and Internships Association (CEIA) and the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).

Diann Lloyd-Dennis

Assistant Director of Programs and Training

Diann holds a B.A. in psychology and an M.S. in academic advising. She brings both enthusiasm and expertise to her role in working with students. Diann's background as a corporate trainer as well as a speaker, author and presenter have prepared her well to work with students as they launch their professional careers. She is a member of the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA), the American Association for Employment in Education (AAEE), the National Career Development Association (NCDA), and  NACE.

David Preble

Operations & Marketing Manager

David comes to the office with a diverse background having worked in ministry, for-profit and non-profit organizations. His experiences fit well with his role in both operations and marketing. David holds a B.A. in communications and a M.A. in biblical counseling.

David’s passion is to maximize the Center for Calling & Career’s services and resources to be fully used by students and alumni so they can thrive in their God given calling and career.
