There are three types of resources to use for your internship search.

1. Handouts

• NWC Directory of Internships - for better browsing capabilities, save it to your computer (contains sites where previous NWC students have done internships and other various organizations with identified internship programs)

2. Your Network

• NWC Faculty, Staff, Family, Friends, and Peers are your greatest asset when it comes to looking for an internship/job. Ask around and find out where people work and you will be surprised at what kind of opportunities you have within that group of people.
• Peer Career Advisors and Career Coaches in the Center for Calling & Career, stop by or call our office at 651-631-5265 to schedule an appointment
• Join LinkedIn and add the Northwestern College Professional Network Group
• Join Professional Associations related to your field of interest

3. Professional Engagements

• Informational Interviews
• Job & Internship Fairs
• On & Off Campus Events
