AccountingThe accounting major prepares students to be professional certified public accountants, corporate controllers, financial officers, internal auditors, governmental accountants, or accountants in charitable organizations. BusinessThe business major prepares students for careers in profit-making or nonprofit corporations by combining a well-balanced program in business administration, liberal arts and science, and biblical studies. FinanceThe finance major equips students to understand and utilize the concepts of business finance currently active in today's corporate and investment communities. Finance can be defined as the art and science of managing money. International BusinessThe international business major prepares students for careers in multinational corporations. Studies in business foundations, cross-cultural courses and language study are the beginning of preparation for international business. Management Information SystemsThe management information systems (MIS) major gives students the tools needed to plan, develop, use and manage the digital assets of an organization. Students learn to use information technology to solve business problems and develop the technological infrastructure of an organization. Students completing this program are prepared to function effectively in a variety of positions such as business application programmers, systems analysts, project managers, and information systems managers. MarketingThe marketing major prepares students for careers in marketing management, product or brand management, sales and sales management, public relations, advertising, promotion and marketing research.
