Biochemistry is a rapidly developing discipline that intersects with biotechnology, physiology, medicine, cell biology and genetics. Biochemistry graduates will be well prepared to enter the work force or pursue graduate or professional degress.
The biology major is a flexible program designed to fit the career goals of each biology student. After completing the biology core requirements, students are able to select from a wide variety of science electives to prepare for any profession in the biological sciences.
The Health Sciences major is for students who intend to pursue nursing at the bachelor, master or doctoral level. It also meets the prerequisites for physician assistant, physical therapy and occupational therapy programs.
