Jake Martens '08 recently opened his own printing company, Button Man Printing.

Amanda Ferris '03 is currently living and serving in Budapest, Hungary teaching at the International Christian School of Budapest. She teaches second grade students from five different countries, including several MK students. After seven years as a Communications Specialist at Northwestern College, Jenny Collins '05 launched into self-employment with her new writing and marketing business, Jenetic Communications.

Adam Boettcher '03 recently relocated to Flagstaff, Arizona to begin his career as a plastic, reconstructive and hand surgeon.

Adam Minnie '07 is doing freelance writing, editing and development work supervising other writers with a small press publisher in the role-playing games industry. His work has incluced anthologies and a project with the Marvel Games license.

Kim (Walls '08) Ketola's book, Cradle My Heart - Finding God's Love After Abortion, was recently published by Kregel Publications. The book was awarded first place in the Sonfire Media contest at the 2010 Blue Ridge Christian Writeres Conference. The book features a foreward from Ruth Graham and has won endorsement by Rebecca St. James, Wess Stafford, and others. Kim is also hosting a new live program on Faith Radio Network (KTIS-AM locally) and other stations to help those hurt by abortion. Cradle My Heart Radio airs Sunday evenings at 8pm Central Time.

Nathan Bird '06 has received performing opportunities in the Twin Cities area with Cantus, Guthrie Theater, and Minnesota Opera. Among various performances and teaching engagements, he will also begin teaching voice lessons at the Academy of Music at Northwestern.

Scot Eaton '06 served eight months with CRASH Japan, serving in nuclear evacuation relief efforts in Fukushima.

Sarah (Gronberg ’00) Kolell was named director of public relations AdFarm.

Cade Lambert ’00 was named head of school for New Life Academy in Woodbury, MN. He began the job in July, following seven years as principal and coach at Des Moines Christian School in Iowa.
