The Youth and Family Studies major prepares students to establish, develop and evaluate models and practices of youth ministry. Emphasis is on understanding youth in their everyday life grounded in a biblical theology of seeing youth created in God’s image. The major also lays a foundation for seminary/graduate study.
“I enjoy doing ministry. I love getting off campus and using what I am learning in the classroom. It has really defined my faith and allowed me to realize why I believe what I do. After graduation, I would love to work with a non-profit that reaches out to youth.
