ACADEMIC ADVISING/Student Services
Your academic advisor understands the challenges you face and will help you select courses, learn about campus services and help you make connections. Once you're admitted to Northwestern, Student Services assists you on your educational journey.
The ALPHA Center is your resource for help with writing and study skills. We offer a free composition lab to help you sharpen grammar and writing skills. Extended hoursare available for Graduate & Continuing Education students.
The Berntsen Library is a center of learning and information access that serves and reflects the mission, curriculum and community of Northwestern College. Our friendly staff is ready to assist you with your research and study needs. Computers and study rooms are also available at the library.
The Center for Calling & Career will help you learn more about who you are and what you do best. Using tools such as the STrengthsFinder, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and more, our expert career counselors can help you explore your calling, learn about jobs and internships, investigate graduate schools and more.
Computer labs are available for student use in Riley Hall and the Berntsen Library. Hours of operation may vary; we recommend calling to make sure they're open before you plan study time there. The Campus Technologies Help Desk is available if you run into computer challenges.
The Disabilities Office for Support Services (DOSS) works with students who require additional support for classroom and program success. If a learning challenge held you back in the past, learn how DOSS can help you succeed for the future.
