This form must be completed by someone other than your parents and the person completing the spiritual reference. You can use adults from your homeschool cooperative, church, work, etc.
How do you handle high school transcripts?
Northwestern prefers a high school transcript that lists your completed courses by date and the grades earned in each course. A final high school transcript with a graduation date and the signature of your adult supervisor is required.
Should I take the ACT or SAT?
The database that we use is the ACT, so we prefer to receive your ACT test scores. But we will accept the SAT. However, the SAT does not give us the percentiles we need to meet scholarship needs.
Northwestern offers PSEO and Early College programs, allowing high school juniors and seniors to supplement their homeschool curriculum and get an early start on their college career—and finish sooner!
The Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program allows Minnesota public, private, and homeschool juniors and seniors to complete college courses for both high school and college credit.
The Early College program offers discounted college courses to qualified high school juniors and seniors anywhere.

Scholarships for HomeSchool Students
Making Northwestern affordable is our #1 priority. Scholarships are awarded based upon GPA, class rank and ACT scores. Since class rank is not available for you, the ACT is doubly important as it lists a national percentile that we use.
