    What is it?

This Health Sciences major is designed to meet the requirements for entrance to any of the six post-baccalaureate nursing programs in the State of Minnesota.

It was tailored specifically for the prerequisites for the “bachelor’s to BSN” accelerated nursing program at the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh.

How do I know if it's right for me?

The Health Sciences major is primarily intended for students who want to pursue nursing at the bachelor’s, master’s, or even doctoral level. However, it can also meet the prerequisites for most physician assistant, physical therapy or other health sciences professions.

So if any of those categories caught your eye, you should probably check it out.

What are the job outlooks for the major?

Career opportunities in nursing are excellent! Nursing is the largest health care occupation, and according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the field of nursing will add new jobs much faster than the average of other occupations.

With the skills and knowledge that you'll gain throughout the course of this major, you'll be prepared to go and take the nursing world by storm!
