Verification Worksheets
If your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is selected for verification you will need to complete the Verification Worksheet and submit federal tax information to the financial aid office. Northwestern will compare your FAFSA information with your federal tax information. Please read the Verification Worksheet carefully and follow all of the instructions. Contact our office if you have questions about verification.
The Department of Education gives us limited authority to make adjustments to a student's eligibility when circumstances arise that are out of the control of the parent/student. If a parent/student feels that they have an appealable situation, this form should be completed and returned to the Financial Aid Office.
Honors Scholarships are available to students who have completed at least one semester at Northwestern. The application process takes place during fall semester for the following academic year. A link to the scholarship application is available through the student portal from mid-October through the end of November. Questions regarding Honors Scholarships should be directed to the Stewardship Coordinator at stewardship@nwc.edu.
Off-Campus Studies Application
If you are interested in applying for financial aid for a period of time in which you will be studying off-campus, you must complete this application. You must also complete the regular application process for financial aid at Northwestern. Summer studies are considered at the end of a school year. Submission of this form does not guarantee assistance is available. This form is for students seeking a day-school degree.
International Student Financial Assistance Application
This form is the application for International Students to receive financial assistance to attend Northwestern College. Funds are awarded on the basis of financial need. This form is for students seeking a traditional undergraduate degree who are not resident aliens.
