Design students discuss the intersection of faith and design at Northwestern College
The Design major prepares students for a professional career in design. The Design program provides students with instruction in the techniques, technology and critical thinking strategies necessary for designers.
Design students develop their abilities to create visual art, conceptualize ideas through visual and oral communication.
Students can choose from two different design emphases:
“Northwestern has shown me how to relate to the world in a Christlike manner. The college helped me find a way to incorporate my faith and beliefs in everything I do: graphic design, art, relationships, etc. My design professor has been like a mentor to me. His passion for helping students express their creativity while praising God has been a source of inspiration."
